You can ask us to delete your Homingo account and the personal data on it at any time, whether or not the app is still installed. This page applies to customers, service professionals and riders alike.
In the app. Open Profile and choose Delete account. That records your request - nothing is closed at that moment, and your account keeps working while we look at it.
Or by email, if the app is no longer installed. Write to support@itshomingo.com with the subject “Delete my Homingo account”, from the email on your account or including the phone number you sign in with - that is how we verify the request is yours. We may send a one-time code to that number to confirm.
Our team reviews the request. If nobody has acted on it within 90 days, it goes through automatically - a request is never left open indefinitely.
Your account is closed, and can be reopened by you. Signing in is disabled everywhere and every device is signed out. We do not overwrite what is on the account, because doing so is what would make the next paragraph impossible.
Sign in with the same phone number as always. The app will tell you the account was deleted and offer Restore your account. Press it and the account is yours again, exactly as it was - your bookings, your history, and for workers your documents and payment details.
No email and no phone call to us is needed. Answering the one-time code on your own number is how we know it is you.

A worker with payouts still being processed can close their account straight away; the payouts complete as normal.
If you want your data erased outright rather than the account closed, write to us at the address below and say so. We will confirm what can be removed and what law requires us to keep.
